Gaming Generations Returns – Bigger, Bolder, and More Inclusive

Gaming Generations returns to Westfield Mall of Scandinavia in Stockholm.

November 21-23, 2025, Gaming Generations returns to Westfield Mall of Scandinavia in Stockholm. During its successful debut in April, thousands of families came together to experience gaming and pop culture side by side. This year, the festival expands with more floor space, twice as many activities, exciting guests, exclusive giveaways, and Black Friday deals from event partners.

The Nordic region’s largest open gaming festival launched in April and quickly became a hit. Its concept is simple yet powerful - to unite generations through shared gaming experiences and show that gaming can be something the whole family enjoys together, just like football, horseback riding, or music.

“Our vision with Gaming Generations is to create a place where games bring people together instead of driving them apart. We want parents and children to connect through gaming - regardless of age, gender, or experience. The worst that can happen is that you’ll have fun together!” says Viktor Maisey, one of the festival’s initiators.

This year’s edition grows by more than 50 percent in total area, with twice as many activities. Visitors can enjoy prizes and giveaways worth over SEK 500,000, while several of Sweden’s top gaming creators offer unique experiences and competitions.

At its core, Gaming Generations remains true to its mission - to make gaming a bridge between generations rather than a divide. Among this November’s new features are a retro station for parents, a beauty corner for anyone wanting to look their best before capturing memorable festival moments, and exciting collaborations with new partners.

The festival organizer Glitch Hub has a clear vision: to attract as many adults as possible to Mall of Scandinavia, giving them insight into their children’s gaming worlds - while kids from all backgrounds get something exciting to look forward to, take part in, and remember.

“Research shows that many children wish their parents would play with them. Here, we’re giving moms and dads a unique chance to make that wish come true,” says Peter Liljestrand, one of the initiators of Gaming Generations.

The festival is organized in collaboration with OMEN and HyperX, returning as title partners. Both brands share the vision of making gaming more inclusive and social - providing the festival with top-tier hardware for all games, and returning with the fan-favorite LOOT DROP, where they give away products worth tens of thousands of kronor every day at 13:37.
